Healthy Banana Bread

This banana bread is made out of 6 healthy ingredients: oats, banana, date syrup, peanut butter and flax seed (okay and vanilla extract, baking soda and salt, but you have that in your cupboard anyways ;) ). Thus, it is oil-free and refined sugar free. Banana bread is always a good idea so let's get into the recipe.

Recipe (10-12 slices) Prep time (1 hour 10 minutes)

  • 2 cups oatmeal flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter

  • 3 big ripe bananas

  • 1/4 cup date syrup

  • 3 tablespoons coconut yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.

  2. In a blender, blend the oatmeal, baking soda and salt. 

  3. Then, add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.

  4. Oil a cake pan and pour the mixture into the pan. 

  5. Bake the banana bread for 55 minutes.

  6. Cool down before eating.
