Chocolate Ganache Tart

Craving a decadent chocolate dessert? Look no further. I am a huge fan of chocolate and this tart exactly hit the spot. You can not only top it with berries, but switch it up for vegan caramel, a sprinkle of sea salt or some vegan cream. This dessert is a guaranteed succes! As always, this chocolate ganache tart is incredibly simple to prepare. All you need for the filling is some coconut milk and dark chocolate. It can’t go wrong ;)























Recipe (serves 10-12) prep time: 1 hour Crust: 1 cup almonds ½ cup oatmeal ½ cup coconut flakes 5 tablespoons cacao powder 6 medjool dates 15 dried prunes (or more dates) 2 tablespoons water Chocolate ganache: 1 can full fat coconut milk 1 bar 75% dark chocolate 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pinch of salt

























Method: 1. Start by blending the almonds, oats, cacao powder and coconut until it is a fine meal. 2. While the food processor is running, slowly add the medjool dates, prunes and water until a sticky dough forms. 3. Press the dough into a pie pan and set it into the fridge. 4. In a pan, warm up the coconut milk until it is boiling. 5. Break the chocolate into pieces and add that into a bowl. Pour the hot coconut milk over it and let it sit for 30-60 seconds. 6. With a whisker, mix the coconut milk and dark chocolate together until smooth. 7. At last, add the vanilla extract and pinch of salt and whisk again. 8. Pour this chocolate mixture into the pie pan and place it back into the fridge for at least 2 hours. 9. Serve and enjoy.
